Suji Laddu Recipe: It rarely happens to anyone who does not feel like eating semolina laddoos. Semolina Ladoo is an Indian traditional sweet dish which is very much liked. Semolina laddoos, full of taste, are made especially on festivals. The taste of granulated semolina laddoos is liked so much that one feels one goes on eating it. Ingredients for making semolina laddoos
Semolina – 1 cup
Milk – 1 cup
Desi ghee – 2 tbsp
Cream – 2 tbsp
Chopped almonds – 2 tbsp
Pistachios chopped – 1 tbsp
Cashew nuts chopped – 2 tbsp
Shredded dry coconut – 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
powdered sugar – as needed
How to make semolina laddoos
To make granulated semolina laddoos, first put semolina in a utensil and then add a cup of milk little by little and mix it. After adding milk, add cream to semolina and knead soft dough while mixing it with hands. After this, cover the prepared dough and keep it aside for 15 minutes. Meanwhile cut small pieces of cashews, almonds and pistachios.
After the fixed time, take semolina flour and mix 1 tablespoon of desi ghee in it and knead it again. Now break the dough into big balls and take one ball and roll it like roti. After this, roast the roti on a griddle and roast it by applying ghee while piercing it with a fork on both sides. Apply sufficient amount of ghee so that it can reach inside the roti. After the roti becomes golden, take it off the griddle. Similarly make roti from all the balls.
Now let the rotis cool down and after that cut them into pieces and grind them with the help of a mixer jar to make granular powder. Now take out the roti mixture in a vessel and mix cardamom powder in it. After this add sugar powder as per taste and mix. Now fry the dry fruits in ghee and put them in the semolina mixture. After this add pieces of desi coconut.
The mixture for making laddoos is now completely ready. Now take a little mixture in your hands and tie round semolina laddoos and keep them separately in a plate. Prepare laddoos from all the mixture and leave them to set for some time. Now your tasty granulated semolina laddoos are ready to serve.
